My Psychology Professor: People who are not depressed see the world the way they want to see it. People who are depressed see the world the way it actually is.
lolno: Depression is an abnormality. They see the world differently than it actually is; they maximize the shortcomings, injustices, and other perceived (emphasis on perceived) bad things in the world, while also undervaluing or ignoring the good things.

In today’s late-coming admission that the Obama Administration has assassinated four American citizens with drone strikes, Attorney General Eric Holder described the death of one of those four, 16-year-old Abdulrahman al-Awlaki, as a “mistake.”
A mistake is when you write “2012” instead of “2013.”
A mistake is when you make change for a ten instead of a twenty.
A mistake...
Cinnamon Toast Crunch sure tastes a lot more terrible than I remember.
Not a day goes by where I don’t hate myself for selling my bitcoin back in 2011, and for not buying tons when they were worth pennies.

People are complaining that you can play as a dog in Call of Duty Ghosts. They are complaining because you can’t play as a girl. Who gives a shit? Just pretend your character is a girl if you have to, there are no mirrors, and your character is referred to by their last name, if at all. You never see your character; who you’re playing as is entirely irrelevant. I could be playing as a...
I ended up getting the VPN all set up, but it didn’t work in Saints Row (nothing related to multiplayer seems to work particularly well), so I took that down and set up a pptpd on the Linux box, but that didn’t jive with Saints Row either. Our only option now is to not play multiplayer, play really laggy and usually broken multiplayer, or somehow get Bud a copy of the game on Steam....
Why are people upset that Tumblr has been acquired by Yahoo?

Trying to set up a VPN so Bud and I can play Saints Row sans massive lag from Tunngle. For whatever reason the port for PPTP is saying it’s filtered, but I have it forwarded in the router, and pass through enabled.
Starting to get sick. I pretty much never get sick. I ate breakfast this morning but otherwise haven’t been hungry at all all day long. Forcing myself to eat dinner now.
ryaktor asked: This JUST ocurred to me now (probably because I haven't listened to the album for years) but your profile picture is the album artwork for Swans' "Filth," isn't it?
I need more crash cymbals.

getting jerked off by ppl who already agree with you isnt changing the world
White Walls is just instant smiles every time I listen to Colors all the way through. Such a great buildup to an awesome ending.
Finally finished my 2nd to last computer science project. It’s pretty much just a really fast, non-OpenGL version of my big final project, with a lot fewer features. I’m glad I’m able to use that big OpenGL thing I was making as my final project. I was just coding it for fun and for the learning experience, but it’s cool to get some credit for it.
Seriously though, I love Phantom Limb.
Phantom Limb is such a great album.
I accidentally tagged like half of my Burzum mp3’s as Buzrum.
Building the newest version of Wine from source so I can run my non-Linux Steam games too. Speaking of which, I got Steam working, and my microphone, keyboard, and everything else working now. Smooooth sailing in Debian.

Holy shit.
I could never get into GTA because I always felt like it was trying too hard to be all PIMPGANGSTAswagNEGROIDYOLO. Saints Row 3 is freakin great though, nothing like GTA at all, way better. Highly recommended if you like to press buttons and move your mouse.
I feel like Lenny now. “I WANT TO PET THE RABBITS GEORGE!”
Got Debian Squeeze running, working on getting some keyboard and microphone issues sorted out, and installing Steam! Figuring out how I’m going to work around using Wine for Steam games that aren’t on Linux yet while using Steam natively at the same time.
